01/02/2015 - 29/03/2015
11:00 am - 3:30 pm
Hampton Court Palace
Celebrating 500 years of Hampton Court Palace, 2015 is an exciting year for Historic Royal Palaces. Commonly remembered as King Henry VIII’s favourite home, it was – in it’s first years – owned not by the King, but by his Chancellor and right-hand-man, Cardinal Thomas Wolsey.
When the King ever had a great matter that needed resolving, it was to Wolsey that the King would always appeal. But what could happen if the Cardinal was unable to resolve any of the King’s matters? Would his right-hand-man stay in favour? Or would he face the prospect of a life away from Court?
Come to join a young King Henry, Cardinal Wolsey and other famous faces throughout February and March. Event runs 11am – 3:30pm daily.
