As part of our coverage of the 800th anniversary of the sealing of Magna Carta, Past Pleasures were happy to be featured on ITV’s morning show, Good Morning Britain, on Monday, 15th June.

King John, shown at Runnymede (where Magna Carta was sealed), explained why it was so important 800 years ago and continues to be so today.

Past Pleasures are pleased to announce that, on Wednesday 11th February, we will appear on BBC One’s prime-time programme, ‘The One Show’, in order to promote Historic Royal Palaces’ celebration of Hampton Court Palace’s 500th year.

As well as featuring our interpreters talking about our daily work at Hampton Court Palace, the programme will also feature three competing Henry VIIIs, of differing ages, as well as musicians and additional characters to populate the palace.

We hope you’ll tune in at 7:00pm to see us in action!

Past Pleasures now boasts not only buzzing Facebook and Twitter pages, but now our very own Vimeo channel!

Last year was a bumper year for us, with fantastic events across Historic Royal Palaces and English Heritage sites. So much so, we recorded some of it on film.
